Firefighters took advantage of favorable weather to fight the fire directly on the firelines today.
Emrys said things are looking better on Radical Ridge, helicopters continued dropping water on the fire there and hand crews worked near the fireline.
Lynn wanted to thank all the people that showed up for the work party today. She said people are feeling better with good defensible space around their houses. She also reminded everyone to pace themselves since the firefight may continue for some time.
Everyone seems to be feeling a lot safer, with good fire breaks in place and active firefighting going on.
