Radical Ridge Update - Sat Morning

Lasara talked to Emrys on Radical Ridge this morning, and this is what I got from her:

The fire is still marching methodically toward the homes. It has reached the waterfall but has not yet crossed into the big fir forest.

The flames are still mostly staying to the ground and not climbing into trees, and its movement is relatively calm and slow at this point. So far, the weather conditions are cooperating.

The National Weather Service, according to the Press Democrat, said gusty erratic winds are predicted which could change everything. However, Accuweather has wind speeds at 6 mph for most of the weekend. Accuweather also has clouds and a 50 percent chance of some precipitation between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. tonight, which I imagine could help if it is not accompanied by lightning.

They have still let some civilians stay/come in, basically because they are short on resources is the sense that some people get. Emrys and a handful of family/friends intend on fighting the fire with the two crews that are there. Lasara said if the fire starts getting unpredictable and more dangerous, and they are required to leave, they will leave.
