Update on Radical Ridge Fire from Emrys:
The fire moved a bit closer last night, both along Jack Smith Creek and along the top of the ridge. Both fires are roughly half a mile from our property.
On ridge, the fire has wrapped around Schlomo's pond, which is probably less than half a mile from our home and moved around and very close to Soren's cabin. It has not reached the Goat Rock area yet above the waterfall.
The fire has also backed down the hill into Jack Smith Creek. In the creek, it sounded like the fire has mostly moved up the tributary toward the Reeves Canyon side.
Emrys said conditions are unpredictible today. The wind has changed directions and they are going to add more fire breaks to compensate for that. Other than that it's a wait-and-see process. His cell phone was low on batteries so we cut the update short.
