Thanks Deborah. I'm wondering how many people have or are evacuating up there. My place is near Orr Springs gate I so feel relatively secure. I'm back in the Bay Area now after doing all I could to make my place fire safe. Not sure at this point if I should go back up to the ranch and start moving my stuff into storage.

Aurelea says: I don't yet know what went on at the meeting--somebody have a report?--but I think many people are getting ready to leave. No structures have burned though. Does anyone have an answer for Lisa? I would say, if you have precious heirlooms here, better safe than sorry.
