I just got the call that there aren't embers on Meca's roof. That was a rumor, apparently. So sorry. There is still an evacuation recommendation, but it isn't mandatory. Many people have stayed to clear around their houses, and Calfire is clearing firebreaks around threatened houses near Bob and Lynn's and on Radical Ridge. So the word is:
No immediate threat on most parts of the Ranch, but have everything ready
Unless you're working on Radical Ridge, it's really not recommended you go up there, as it's smoky and CDF needs room
Important: if you do evacuate to Ukiah, bear in mind that the air quality there is dreadful, way worse than on the Ranch; a dust mask or wet bandana over your mouth will help.
