I work for a e-commerce and marketing company that just happens to also own American Tank Company - one of the largest national distributors of water tanks. I spoke to the folks in our WaterTanks.com office to see what kind of deal I can get for Greenfielders on freshwater tanks and fire-hose fittings. Here's what I came up with:
Tanks: Our tank prices are already the lowest in the industry. If you price-check, you'll find that no one can touch our prices. I can't get the prices on the tanks any lower, but what I can do is get the freight knocked down, which is usually a major cost increase. If we can get 8 people to commit to buying a 2,500 gallon freshwater poly tank (CAD drawing here: http://www.watertanks.com/drawing/1577/category/6/product/0005-035/ ), I can get a truck to drive them to the Greenfield Ranch gate in one trip. The total cost for each tank is $780.37. The total cost for shipping all 8 to the Ranch gate is $888 ($111 each - normally freight would be $300-$400 each if they were shipped individually and brokered). This brings each tank to $891.37. Let me know if folks are interested in pooling together and making this happen.
Fire Kits: We also carry the fire kits that CDF or the fire department needs to be able to utilize a water tank if necessary ( http://www.watertanks.com/category/91/ ). We sell these for $206 and currently have 12 kits in stock. We can get more quickly if needed.
I rarely work with the water tank division of the company, but I'm stoked to be able to pull some strings and help out Greenfield.
With kind regards, Zack Darling

Zack, I'm interested, but I live on the other side of 101, near Calpella. Is the offer good for my location too, or would I have to pick up the tank from the gate?
BTW, what's your email address? You can reach me easily at ukiahhome.wordpress.com or carl@pacific.net if I notice your message appear thru all the spam.
