New Fire Map 7-2

Here's the latest image with outlines showing the extent of the fires. Each time the images have been updated, the outlines from all the previous fire extents have been left in place. That's why it looks so scribbly (sp ?). The outer line is the full extent of each of the fires as of June 29th. The extent outline of the No Name Fire (AKA Rice Fire, Valentine Fire & Williams Fire) is unchanged from the last time Mariah sent me a copy. I believe that fire was on Mendocino Redwoods Co. (MRC) land so maybe MRC put it out. I hadn't been able to see over there for several days because the smoke was just a thick blanket in that direction in the mornings. I can't see any smoke over there today and the blanket is gone. Today's visibility has been better than ever. - Linda
