30% Chance Dry Lightning Tonite

From Sequoia:
They are predicting a 70% chance that the lightening won't come. That's the reverse of a 30% chance that it will. Seems to me that the first thing to do is pray and ritualize around that 70% chance to move it to a 100% chance of no lightening. Then, if it does come here are some tips from neighbors.

From Maria Gilardin:
KZYX announced this morning a dry lightning fire alert from 8 pm tonight to 11 am tomorrow.
That's from Tuesday, August 8, through Wednesday, August 9.
A good opportunity to top off the tanks in all those new fire engines.

From Kirstin Johnsen:
Do we have folks designated to go out and spot for lightning strikes/fires tonight if the storm hits?
Seems like at least one spotter per neighborhood would be a good idea.

From Sequoia:
Maria told the story of how she and George climbed a hilltop during the last storm to watch for strikes and I believe they were able to stop a few fires. A lesson for us all, if you hear it again tonight, don't huddle in bed, go out and be prepared to put out any fires near your home and call neighbors if you see a strike on their land.

From Lisa:
KZYX evening weather report said possible dry lightning after midnight tonite. Possible showers through tomorrow afternoon. The first part of the storm is expected to be dry, then maybe some rainfall in the morning.
